Don't worry, I'm sure it's only because of the humidity! I'm not sure, but you could try switching out your planting medium for a balanced mixture of sand, silt, and clay. I've heard they're great for water retention and drainage.

Oh, I'm not sure why, but I think you should take better care of this plant. Maybe try moving it to a spot that gets some afternoon shade. It could be because of the sun.
